During my recent stay at Logis Hôtel Le Lion d'Or, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm hospitality of the owners, who made our culinary experiences genuinely delightful by incorporating local produce to accommodate our dietary needs. Nestled in the serene heart of Périgord Blanc, this charming hotel provided us with a peaceful retreat, complete with an inviting outdoor swimming pool and lush gardens, perfect for unwinding after our adventures. With the convenience of off-road parking and the staff's proficient English, navigating this lovely village and its stunning surroundings felt effortless, allowing us to soak in the area's rich history, including medieval streets and the iconic St Front Cathedral. I highly recommend indulging in a locally brewed beer at their restaurant—an engaging blend of traditional French cuisine and sustainability that left us wanting more.
